I highly doubt that is true. The Argus is doing very well compared to other newspapers.

There were a few posts and I received a detailed anonymous tip saying 25. I'm sure you're right, but do you have details? Was there 21 layoffs and four positions eliminated or something like that?

Hi Erica, thanks for the post.

I've been hesitant to update information on here because I received a note from someone saying they were laid off at the Argus Leader and said in their meeting, they were told "25 positions were eliminated." Obviously the story is credible, but I've wondered how many were layoffs, if the number 25 was wrong or if there is something else to it or just what is missing here.

Anyone in Sioux Falls know the specifics?
