From the Blog:
binghamton has seen 3 confirmed cut so far..i dont think there over with the cuts though the number is just too low...


Can anyone confirm?

Blog says 4 so far:
Binghamton has lost 4 so far: 1 in Ad Services, 1 in Advertising, 1 in building services, and 1 in news. More to come tomorrow.

The one in ad services was terrible. It should have been the other person without a clue as to how to do the job. I guess that's what you get for being up the publishers butt all day every day.

A cut of 4 from Binghamton is too low a count! Ass kissers and buttsuckers gets to stay whilst people with substance are being let off left and right! Fuck Gannett and fuck the CNY group!!!!!

There were more than 4 laid off at the Press & Sun. Several other positions were eliminated but those people were shuffled to other jobs as several people had left in recent weeks, open positions were eliminated entirely and others were encouraged to take early retirement.

Wonder why those big boys who made big money are not fired whilst the smaller guys are let go? Could have cut one of those big boys and saved a few jobs!

Binghamton is wonderful and the Publisher and AD are swell folks I have learned so much from them both in my 2 years here.
