On the same day that is the final day at the Lansing State Journal for advertising director Pam Jodway, publisher Brian Priester sent out a memo saying the paper's director of production, Jody Hook, will also be leaving the paper.
Here is the memo:

Subject: Important Announcement
Please join me in congratulating Jody Hook who has been named Operations Director at the Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Mississippi. Jody has done an outstanding job during her tenure in Lansing. She has been instrumental in completing several large production projects including our web conversion last summer and consolidating Battle Creek production into our Delta plant this past winter. As you know, for her efforts in 2008 she earned a President’s Ring for outstanding performance. Jody has been a strong leader on our operating committee and will be missed. Please join me in congratulating her on her new assignment. Jody’s last day with us will be Friday, August 28.
